The Heritage
This stone has a meridian of its own. In 1893, in the Arizona desert, a chemist named Henri Moissan was sifting the crater where a star had struck the earth fifty thousand years before. Among the fragments he found brilliant crystals and, at first, called them diamonds. He was wrong — and the mineral he had actually found was named moissanite in his honor: a thing so rare in nature that almost none has ever been seen outside a fallen star.
So the stone at your throat is grown, not mined — made by human hands to the same recipe the cosmos used, and the clearer for it. It throws more fire than a diamond does; that is physics, not flattery — the way it bends light into color. Set in solid 14K yellow gold and held in a clean bezel, the oval is cradled the way the sky cradles a star at its height: fixed, framed, unwilling to set.
You do not follow this star. You wear it at its meridian, and take your bearings from it.
